I wouldn't go quite as far as you did, but I agree that there is definitely some great stuff from the 80s and the 90s.

I listened to this ridiculously high energy show for the first time today. The Stella Blue is unbelievable. Certainly not a perfect show, but highly enjoyable.

Since it was a recommendation from someone on here (I don't remember who), not everyone who posts here thinks it was all downhill after the break.
